Detroit-Superior Bridge Rehabilitation

The rehabilitation of the Detroit-Superior Bridge included replacement of the upper deck wearing course surface using hydro-demolition and micro-silica modified concrete, concrete patching of the lower superstructure, substructure, and tunnel components, fiber-reinforced polymer wraps, construction of vandal-protection walls, and minor drainage repairs. The scope also included concrete arch and column repairs in the Detroit-Superior tunnels and involved installing extensive shoring to support the structure during the repair/replacement process.
