The construction of the Wendy Park Bridge will link the Cleveland Foundation Centennial Lake Link Trail to Wendy Park on Whiskey Island and Lake Erie. The project consists of constructing the substructure for and erecting a new 500-foot prefabricated three-span truss with tied-arch truss center span pedestrian bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad, Salt Road and Whiskey Island Drive. The work includes the south approach ramp/embankment retaining walls, drainage, lighting and relocating a portion of Whiskey Island Drive.
