The Great Lakes Construction Co. was at the Cleveland Clinic for the new Health Education Campus (a new state-of-the-art medical college for Case Western Reserve University). Work included installation of new pull boxes, light pole foundations, 2 street crossings, and pouring of a 12” concrete base for eastbound right lane of Chester Ave. from E. 93rd St. to E. 100th St. Crews also installed underground utilities for Time Warner Cable, Cleveland Traffic, Everstream, AT&T and Cleveland Public Power (CPP). Due to the heavy volume of traffic during the day, much of Great Lakes’ work was performed at night making a safer job. Additional work includes the last duct bank run, a short CPP & Cleveland Traffic run, and prepping base for concrete sidewalk and curb. Work from Subcontractors included placing new asphalt on Chester Ave., pavement marking, pouring new concrete sidewalk and curb.
