The W. 44th St. Bridge project over I-90 was substantially completed on 11/5/2021. This project replaced the existing deck and beams and updated the lighting for the structure carrying W. 44th traffic over I-90. Several utility relocations were required to perform this work including Cleveland Public Power, Cleveland Water, Dominion East Ohio Gas and CEI requiring extraordinary coordination. The project also replaced a section of the median barrier wall on I-90 and installed 2 new overhead traffic truss signs.
