Great Lakes Brewing Co. Scranton Peninsula

Remediation and site preparation got underway for the Great Lakes Brewing Co. Carter Road Project on the Scranton Peninsula in the Flats of Cleveland. The Great Lakes Construction team is currently removing approximately 8,600 tons of contaminated soils from the former steel mill site on the Cuyahoga River. The site is split across three parcels owned by Great Lakes Brewing. Our work also includes utilizing backfill material currently onsite and regrading a four-acre parcel. When our work is complete, Great Lakes Brewing will have a clean slate for developing a new presence on the Scranton Peninsula – which is a hot area of new development near downtown Cleveland.
