City of Lakewood Site Development

In downtown Lakewood, the famous Facebook “Pit” is finally being developed. The site used to be the city hospital – after demolition, contaminated soils were discovered from the hospital’s laundry operations. Our project requires a six-foot clay cap with a permeability of 1X10-7. We will also be relocating the storm sewer that cuts through the site. This will clear the downtown site for further development.
