The Great Lakes Construction Co. was awarded the Ashland Substation Project in October 2021. The entirely new substation will be put in service to strengthen the existing power grid. The scope of work includes several of our core competencies such as site embankment, drilled shafts, spread footers, trenching, drainage, and stone. Having worked through the winter months, Great Lakes will complete this project by June 2022.
