Great Lakes has been awarded the construction of a new BioCEPT System for the City of Akron Water Reclamation Facility. This project involves $61M of structural, process piping and equipment, electrical, HVAC and integration work. New structures include a Stormwater Detention Basin, BioCEPT tanks with a Process Building, channels, pumps, piping, and equipment. Influent channels will be constructed with flow metering, as well as a primary flow splitting structure and a RAS BioCEPT pumping system. Refurbishment of a portion of the SRT tanks will provide permanent emergency side stream storage.
