This complex project included rehabilitation of existing pump station by demolishing the existing pump station superstructure, installation of new superstructure with brick exterior, and replacement of existing mechanical, electrical, and controls. Project included construction of new cast-in-place circular supplemental pump station, 44-ft deep, to increase total pumping capacity up to 12 MGD. Project also included installation of 2,800 LF of new parallel force mains, construction of various site structures and vaults, site restoration, maintenance of traffic, control of existing sewer flow, and handling and disposal of contaminated soil and groundwater.
